Rental Terms and Conditions
Rates
- All rates are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Service Tax (GST) of 12.5%
- All rates are charged per calender day and are subject to change without notice.
- No minimum period for Cars and Trucks.
- Minimum hire period is 7 calendar days for Motorhomes.
- Rates are negotiable on long term rentals.
- Full payment of hire is required prior to hire commencement.
- Hire rates include unlimited mileage and diesel tax.(Motorhomes)
- A deposit of 20% (or minimum $500.00) is required to secure hire period with balance prior to pick up.
Insurance
Please Note:
- Insurance does not cover hirer's personal property.
- Insurance does not apply to reckless driving or driving under the influence of drugs/ alcohol.
- The hirer is responsible for the first NZ$2000.00 of any accident claim (see bond)(Cars and Trucks)
- The hirer is responsible for the first NZ$3000.00 of any accident claim (see bond) (Motorhomes)
- All drivers must be over 21 years old with a minimum 2 years driving experience, and hold a current valid N.Z. Drivers license or approved international driver's license.
Insurance Car Waiver for Cars and Vans
The following options can be used to reduce your NZ$2000.00 insurance excess:
- An additional NZ$10 per day per vehicle reduces your excess to $1000
- An additional NZ$20 per day per vehicle reduces your excess to $250
Optional windscreen and Glass cover is an extra NZ$50 per hire per vehicle.
Insurance Waiver Options Motorhomes
The following options can be used to reduce your NZ$3000.00 insurance excess:
- An additional NZ$20 per day per vehicle reduces your excess to $1500
- An additional NZ$30 per day per vehicle reduces your excess to $250
Optional windscreen and Glass cover is an extra NZ$50 per hire per vehicle.
Bond
- Vehicles returned in "dirty" or "unreasonable" condition.
- Toilet Cassette not emptied.
- Fuel Tank not filled.
- Vehicles returned beyond the agreed time.
- Speeding Infringements.
- Parking Tickets.
- Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to pick up date will be refunded 50% of the deposit paid.
- Cancellations made less that 15 days prior to pick up date will receive no refund of deposit paid.
A bond of NZ$2000.00 dollars for Cars and Vans or NZ$3000.00 dollars for Motorhomes is payable by cash or credit card swipe to cover any accident or damage claim to vehicle or camper.
This bond will be used if any damage or claim occurs and/or money deducted to cover expense due to:
Cancellation
#We reserve the right to substitute a similar or superior vehicle to the hirer.
This excludes any breach of contract on our part or refund to the hirer.
#All prices and Specifications are subject to change due to fleet upgrades or changes.
All vehicles are supplied with full fuel tanks and must be returned with full fuel tanks or costs will be deducted from the bond.
One way rentals are available subject to the term of hire. (Relocation fees may apply)
All parking and or speeding infringements will be deducted from the bond or credit card, at cost plus NZD$20.00 fee to cover credit card costs and administration fees.
